It is very exciting to me when developers of shareware games still have websites

Wrote about some shareware game developers that still have websites

EDIT: I have added a list at the end of recommendations by other folks

@MossRC Thank you! I forgot about Goodsol and love that they're just kinda doing their own thing and it seems to be working

@MichaelKlamerus Here's one of my favorite holdouts - windowsgames.co.uk/ - Sean O'Connor made a rather addicting Empire clone called "Mother of All Battles" for Windows 3.0 that is still getting some updates and being sold today! Plus a lot of other small games I haven't tried... :)

@greg @MichaelKlamerus Ah man, he made Slay which I bought years ago and still enjoy today. Weirdly addictive little strat game which unexpectedly consumed hours of my life. I carried it on a USB for many years so I could whip it out at work as well!

@greg Thank you! I'll have to check it out

@MichaelKlamerus This is really interesting to see! One I discovered recently is the website for Bluemoon, the developers of SkyRoads (and previously, Kosmonaut). The site doesn't look like it's been updated since about 2000, but it is still online.

@pulsar I didn't know they still had a site. I love SkyRoads!

@MichaelKlamerus I was just thinking about Hamumu today (hamumu.com) who just released their flagship Dr. Lunatic Supreme on Steam for its 20th anniversary.

@AndyHat woah, like literally just released it. I'll have to check it out. Thank you!

@MichaelKlamerus Oh right, I knew I had more but blanked on them until immediately after posting, of course.

Ray Dunakin, another World Builder dev, including a modern Mac remake of one game semitech.com/marc/ray.html

@robotspacer @MichaelKlamerus Really glad to see this is still around - I used to visit Robot Room to read their robotics articles and projects a long time ago!

@robotspacer thank you! These look really cool. I'll have to try them out. Same with the games by the world builder devs

@MichaelKlamerus Found another one - a female shareware developer, no less, and who appears to still be making jigsaw games and things. Very cool! lenagames.com/index.htm

@MichaelKlamerus I recently finished reading Shareware Heroes, so it was neat to see these familiar names again.
