Der #Euro hat signifikante Vorteile für alle aber besonders #Deutschland gehabt, weil anders als #DMark keine #Umtausch-Industrie in der #EU und durch Harmonisierung deutsche Produkte billiger wurden, was bei der deutschen Exportwirtschaft vorteilhaft ist.
#wero muss sich #global behaupten können, sonst wird es bestenfalls ne nationale oder regionale Option sein wie #WeChatPay, #AliPay, #UnionPay, #JCB & #Mir, und damit kein #Wettbewerber zu #AMEX, #VISA, #MasterCard & #PayPal.
#wirecard war zwar nen #Betrug, aber die boten sich #global an, und solange #B2B nicht Muster mit wero auf #Alibaba / #AliExpress kaufen können und #Kleinanzeigen.de & #eBay nicht wero in "Sicher Bezahlen" unterstützt wird's sich nicht durchsetzen können.

Oops. I'm in #Dublin for #EuroBSDcon, and quite a bit shocked. Feels like in Hungary 15 years ago:
- my #Amex card was accepted only once, but even then they asked if I have another one.
- my #Mastercard was rejected multiple times that it's not issued in Ireland...

Wenn #Trump gewählt wird, kann es sein, dass die Wirtschafts- und Finanzbedingungen sich stark ändern. Wenn zu diesem Zeitpunkt ein europäischer Player am Markt ist, kann das nicht schaden.
Zumal #VISA, #Mastercard, #PayPal, #AMEX und Co., aber insbesondere die ersten drei, nicht mehr ganz so direkt und überhöht Transaktionsgebühren bestimmen können (sollen).

@landley the really fun part is that whilst neither #VISA nor #MasterCard nor #AMEX nor #PayPal want to admit it, #pr0n is one of their main moneymakers.
They just are too cowardly to admit that without "#AdultEntertainment" and #Gambling sites, they'd be just "#SEPA + #girocard, but worse"...
Because at the end of the day, they too are publicly traded corporations, owned and ruled by men almost as horny for money as Marsallek.
#Christofacists may believe #Porn is "evil" but whether they like it or not, said Corporations will gladly and discreetly accept this revenue because if they amd tueir payment processors don't make that money, those that will do so are the ones exchanging #Monero to and from #fiat, and that would undermine the current financial mass surveillance that Uncle Sam's proud of so no Sexworker can refuse to pay taxes...
